Reassign MOC Tasks
About Reassign MOC Tasks
The Reassign MOC Tasks element allows an administrator to permanently reassign one or more MOC tasks and/or roles to different people when the originally assigned person is no longer with your company or has moved to a different position in your company. Tasks refer to current MOC tasks and MOC action items. These are tasks and action items that are currently on the Frontline desktop of the originally assigned person. Roles show the person's inclusion in MOC profiles, form action items, shortcut pre-approvers and route nodes. Such roles can result in future tasks and action items, unless these are reassigned using this element.
When you reassign tasks, system scans all tasks and roles for the selected person and highlights only the ones which are applicable. This makes it easy to reassign tasks in batches. You may reassign all tasks and roles to a new person, or only the selected items. By repeating the process, you can reassign existing tasks and roles from one person to multiple people and over time, if desired. All reassignment of tasks is stored and accessible using View History; this makes it convenient to track reassignments to multiple people and over time.
Note: that the task Manage Agent List discussed previously can be used if you want to temporarily transfer MOC tasks and action items to another person.
